Life Update 📸

Just last week, I was supposed to be packing my bags and heading to Raleigh, North Carolina, for a 3 month photography internship with USA Baseball. It was an opportunity I had been looking forward to and one that seemed like a major step toward my long-term goals in sports photography.

Recently, however, I made the difficult decision not to go.

It wasn't an easy choice. Financially, it wasn't feasible, and despite how exciting the opportunity appeared on paper, I never felt at peace about it. After spending a lot of time in prayer, seeking wisdom, and looking for confirmation, I felt the Lord leading me in a different direction.

The truth is, I don't know exactly what His plan is for me right now. I don't know what next year will look like, what doors will open, or where this journey will take me. What I do know is that God has been faithful every step of the way, and I've learned that trusting Him in the waiting is just as important as celebrating the moments when everything makes sense.

So, what's next?

For now, I'll continue doing what I love: serving others through photography. I'll be covering sporting events throughout the area, freelancing for Indiana Preps and NCAA events, and continuing to grow my experience in the sports industry. I'll also continue serving at Redemption Christian Church through photography, using the gifts God has given me to help tell the stories of what He is doing in our church community. I'll keep networking, building relationships, and pursuing opportunities that could help me achieve my dream of working for a professional sports league or college athletic program one day.

Outside of photography, I'll continue working at my awesome part-time job, Ella & Ivy. If you haven't stopped by yet, you should!

June is already shaping up to be a busy month. I'll be covering postseason sports, including trips to the softball and baseball state finals, while also photographing seniors and serving clients throughout the community.

At the end of the month, I'm especially looking forward to a much-needed road trip to Colorado with my brother. After a busy spring season, it will be a great opportunity to recharge, spend time with family, and enjoy some time in the mountains before jumping back into another busy season.

Speaking of summer!!

Class of 2027 senior sessions are officially open!

I currently have availability in July and August, but spots tend to fill quickly. I'd love the opportunity to work with you and help capture such an exciting season of life. I'll also be accepting a limited number of family and couple sessions throughout the summer.

As I reflect on everything that's happened over the past year, one thing stands out more than anything else: the incredible support I've received from all of you. Whether you've booked a session, purchased photos, shared my work, encouraged me, or simply followed along on this journey, thank you. Your support means more than you know. Every opportunity I've been given has been possible because of the people who continue to believe in me and my work.

While I may not know exactly what the future holds, I'm excited to continue pursuing this dream, trusting God's timing, and capturing the moments that matter most along the way.

Thank you for being part of this journey. The best is yet to come!
